Engineering & Inspections International utilizes JME X‑ray Pipeline Crawlers. JME pipeline crawlers are designed to produce high quality panoramic radiographs of circumferential butt welds in new pipelines from 6 inch to 60 inch pipe. These units are designed and proven, both onshore and offshore, to work as a fully self-contained, self‑powered exposure vehicles.
The Non-Isotope Control System is a unique magnetic control system designed to replace the conventional isotope control system. There are no trailing leads and all commands are executed from outside the pipeline via magnetic transmitter (Magnetope). The units can be commanded to travel, stop and radiograph as required by the technician.
6" Pipeline Crawler
The JME 6″ Pipeline Crawler is specifically designed for (NDT) non-destructive examinations of circumferential butt welds in tubular installations such as oil and gas transmission pipelines, while in construction.
The JME 6″ Pipeline Crawler is extremely compact and lightweight, enabling our technicians to perform radiographic inspections with internal panoramic single images of internal diameter down to 5.3 inches and up to 16″.
